ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.16 of 2020 registered on the complaint given by the second respondent herein alleging that the petitioners had committed the offence of cheating under Section 420 IPC.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the second respondent is present and the parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 06.06.2022, stating that they have compromised the matter and the petitioners have settled a sum of Rs.1,33,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Thirty Three Lakhs only) in favour of the second respondent in full and final settlement of all claims made by him. In view of the same, the second respondent has no objection to quash the FIR in Crime No.16 of 2020. 2/4

3. Recording the compromise arrived at between the parties, the impugned FIR in Crime No.16 of 2020 is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
