Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent bank to forthwith sanction the education loan amount to the petitioner so as to continue the petitioner studies on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 24.03.2022.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent bank to forthwith sanction the Education Loan amount to the petitioner so as to continue his studies based on the petitioner's representation, dated 24.03.2022. 2.Heard Mr.S.Ramakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3.On instructions, the learned Standing counsel would submit that the petitioner has not submitted his application through online seeking for Education Loan and he has only given the representation through offline to the second respondent. He would submit that once an online application is submitted by the petitioner, seeking for Education Loan, the same will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. W.P.(MD)No.6376 of 2022 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner is also agreeable to the same. After recording the statement made by the respective counsels, this Court directs the petitioner to submit an online application to the second respondent, seeking for Educational Loan for the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said application, the second respondent shall process the said loan application and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter. 5.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
