ORDER

The present revision petition has been filed by the husband, challenging an order of interim maintenance passed by the Sub Court, Vedasandur, in I.A.No.53 of 2019 in H.M.O.P.No.22 of 2018.

2.The petitioner herein had filed H.M.O.P.No.22 of 2018 before the Sub Court, Vedasandur, for the relief of divorce on the ground of cruelty. Pending divorce application, the wife had filed I.A.No.53 of 2019 seeking Rs.30,000/- per month as interim monthly maintenance. The Sub Court, Vedasandur, after considering the submissions on either side has directed the petitioner herein to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month as interim maintenance. Challenging the same, the present revision petition has been filed. 3.A perusal of the records indicate that the petitioner/husband is a Tailor by profession and the trial Court after considering the evidence on record has arrived at a finding that the petitioner has to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- per month.

Considering the quantum of amount directed by the Court, to be paid as interim maintenance, this Court does not find any reason to interfere in the said order. 4.The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents contended that H.M.O.P. is pending from the year 2018 onwards and so far, the trial has not begun and he sought for expeditious disposal of the H.M.O.P. The learned Sub Judge, Vedasandur is directed to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.22 of 2018 on or before 31.12.2025.

5.In view of the facts, there are no merits in the revision petition. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
