For Petitioner : Mr.T.Veerakumar For Respondent : Mr.K.Chellapandian Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.C.Ramesh Special Government Pleader

ORDER

Heard Mr.T.Veerakumar, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.K.Chellapandian, Learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.C.Ramesh, Learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The grievance sought to be ventilated by the Petitioner in this Writ Petition is that though he had answered 58 questions https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P. (MD) No.7707 of 2021 correctly in the written test for Common Recruitment for the Posts of Grade-II Police Constable/Grade-II Jail Warder and Firemen for the year 2020, it has been informed that he has obtained only 53 marks for the same and if 58 marks are awarded to him, he would be selected.

3.

Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the Respondents has produced a copy of the answer sheet of the Petitioner and the key answers for that written test before this Court and receipt of its copy is acknowledged by the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner. It is reflected from the answer sheet produced that only 53 questions had been answered correctly by the Petitioner for which marks have been awarded and the claim that he is entitled to 58 marks is apparently incorrect. In such circumstances, the question of interfering with the results of the written test does not arise.

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
