ORDER

Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner namely K.Lakshmi, residing at Door No.65, 5th Street, Amaravathi Nagar, Care Colony, Puliyur Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District, had filed the present Writ Petition in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the first respondent, the Tahsildar, Taluk Office, Karur, Karur District, to carry out the survey of the property at Puliyur Village, Karur Taluk, Old Natham S.F.No.1609 / 2, New Natham S.F.No.2034/47, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2020.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents stated that instructions had been given to the respondents to carry out necessary survey. But, unfortunately the entire area is said to be encroached with thorns and bushes. Unless the petitioner clears the same, survey is not possible.

4. The said submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader is very reasonable and is taken note by this Court. It is stated by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents that the date for conducting survey is fixed on 11.06.2020. In the meanwhile, the respondents may visit the place and instruct the petitioner to clear the place and hence, the survey can be done.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who is also present, stated that, he would instruct the petitioner to act accordingly to the need of the respondents and clear the place and it may be conducive to carry out the survey work.

6. After the said clearance, the respondents shall conduct the survey and submit a report in accordance with the survey conducted within a period of four weeks from the date of clearance.
