ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner / sole accused, who was arrested on 27.08.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.206 of 2016 on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 27.08.2016 during routine checkup, it was found that petitioner was in possession of 1 kg and 250 grams of Ganja.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that totally 5 previous cases are pending against the petitioner and all the cases are below commercial quantity.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Judicial Magistrate No.III, Dindigul, and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required.
