The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, seeking for issuance of a direction to the 3rd respondent/Chief Educational Officer to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Office Assistant in the fifth respondent School w.e.f., 01.06.2018 with all attendant benefits including arrears of salary and allowances.
2.Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Xavier Rajini, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions would submit that, on perusal of the said appointment and the proposal sent by the School as well as the representation made by the petitioner to the respondents dated 25.11.2019, the third respondent/Chief Educational Officer, by subsequent proceedings has approved the appointment of the petitioner as Office Assistant in the fifth respondent School vide proceedings made in Mu.Mu.No.006419/Aa1/2020, dated 17.03.2020.
3. The submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is taken on record and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this regard.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
