O R D E R

This petition has been filed to directing the fourth respondent to give permission and adequate protection for the celebration of the Bhagavathi Amman, Sri Mariamman Temple's Festival from 03.05.2022 to 10.05.2022 in T.Batherpaettai Village, Thurayir Taluk, Trichi District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2022.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents also produced a letter issued by the Takkar, Executive Officer of Arulmigu Mariamman Thirukovil, T.Batherpaettai Village, Thurayir Taluk, Trichi District addressed to the Thasildar, Thurayir to conduct peace committee meeting. He would further submit that there is a rival claim for the very same temple and the Executive Officer of the same temple, requested the revenue official to conduct peace committe meeting.

3. In view of the above, the Thasildar, Thuraiyur is directed to conduct peace committee meeting between the petitioner's group and the rival group and resort the same on or before 02.05.2022.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
