The present Writ Petition has been filed by an Assistant Executive Engineer working in TANGEDCO, challenging the order of transfer dated 06.03.2024, wherein he was transferred from EDC Thirupalai to EDC Villapuram, within the Madurai Electricity Distribution Circle.
2. A perusal of the impugned order reveals that the petitioner has been transferred within the Madurai Electricity Distribution Circle and it is only on administrative grounds. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the order of transfer.

3. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has already completed three years of service at Thirupalai.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 10.07.2024, the petitioner has submitted an application seeking request transfer to re-transfer him to K.Pudur.
5. Considering the above said facts, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the said transfer request application form and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law based upon seniority.
6. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
