ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from developing a road in the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.11/1A1, situated at Sittilarai Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District, without acquiring the said land in accordance with the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the road was laid in Survey No.11/1 and not through the patta land belonging to the petitioner.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. However, it is made clear that in the event of any road being laid in the petitioner's property, due process of law shall be followed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
