Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to punish the Contemnor/ Respondent for willfully disobeying and not complying with the order of this Honorable Court dated 21.12.2022 in WP(MD)No.17862 of 2022.

Prayer in WP(MD). 17862/ 2022 :

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the petitioner 1/3

the difference in his terminal benefits namely Gratuity and Encashment of Leave, after revising the same, based on the scale of pay payable to him on the month of his retirement, as admitted by the Respondent in the RTI information dated 01.06.22, together with 18 percent interest per annum, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble court.

ORDER : This sub application coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.K.RAMAIAH, Advocate for the petitioner, the Court made the following order:- This Petition is ordered and the appearance of the contemnor is dispensed with for the present.

2. Post the matter on 22.03.2024 for reporting compliance. On that date, if the order is not complied with, the contemnor/s is/are directed to be present before this court.
