ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. P.Vetrivel, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar Government Advocate (Crl.) respondents No.1 and 2, this Court made the following order: This petition is filed seeking extension of time to appear before the learned Judge, Special Court for trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Theni District, as directed by this Court by order passed in Crl.OP(MD) No.20270 of 2023, dated 10.11.2023.
2.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the time is extended by ten days from today (04.04.2024), with a condition that the petitioners should pay a sum of Rs.1000/-(each) to the credit of Gandhi Memorial Museum, Account No.495819106, IFSC Code: IDIB0007003, Indian Bank, Tallakulam Branch, Madurai and to appear before the concerned Court. Also, the concerned Magistrate ascertain whether the petitioners have paid a sum of Rs.1000/- to the Gandhi Memorial Museum, Madurai and accept the surety.
