PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in O.No:688/A1/2020 dated 19.11.2025 so far as the date of effect from 20.04.2023 is concerned and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher with effect from 05.10.2017.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration for the admission, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submitted that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed. To that effect, he placed before this Court a copy of the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 25.02.2026, by duly serving a copy of the same on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel on either side agree that the relief sought in this writ petition has become infructuous.
