ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred to expedite the investigation in Cr. No.92 of 2017 and file a final report within a stipulated time.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent/State.

It is seen that on the complaint given by one Balasubramanian, Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Ramanathapuram, an FIR has been registered in Cr. No.92 of 2017 on 01.03.2017 against one Selvaraj for offences under Sections 465, 468 and 471 IPC.

Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, the direction as sought by the petitioner to complete the enquiry in a time bound manner cannot be granted. However, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the enquiry and either close the case or take action in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
