Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.C.IYYAPPA RAJ, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit to produce the surety before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District, as per the 1/3

order of this Court dated 22.02.2024 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2739 of 2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks time to comply with the condition imposed upon the petitioner, since the petitioner could not arrange the sureties within the stipulated time as per the order of this Court dated 22.02.2024 made in Crl.O.P(MD).No.2739 of 2024.

3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 22.02.2024 is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall stand automatically vacated.
