ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to proceed with the investigation in accordance with law and the procedure in Crime No.2 of 2016 on his file and file his final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though F.I.R has been registered as early as on 11.02.2016, the respondent did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent requires nine months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.2 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.2 of 2016 before the Court concerned on or before 30.06.2017.
