This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file final report in Crime No.137 of 2016, dated 17.04.2016, on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that after completion of investigation, the respondent has filed final report in Crime No.137 of 2016 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sivagangai and the same was taken on file as STC.No.576 of 2016 on 29.07.2016 and since the accused admitted the crime and paid Rs.2,000/- towards fine, the case was closed. He has also produced a xerox copy of the slip issued by the concerned Court.

4. Recording the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
