ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) The mother has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition to produce her daughter, who is the detenue and to set her at liberty.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2 on instructions would submit that the detenue got married to the third respondent. He further submitted that the detenue is a major and her date of birth is 03.10.2005.

3. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to produce the detenue before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thanjavur. The learned Judicial Magistrate shall record the statement of the detenue and proceed further in accordance with law. The petitioner, who is the mother, shall also be put on notice, so that, she 2/4Page

can also be present in the Court at the time of recording the statement of the detenue.
