This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to file the final report in Crime No.48 of 2016, dated 04.02.2016, pending on the file of the 2nd Respondent Police, within a time limit.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the respondent police conducted the petition enquiry and closed the case as 'action dropped' on 03.12.2016 and he has also produced the xerox copy of the closure report before this Court.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
