PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the Judgment passed by this Court in W.A.(MD) No.168 of 2019, dated 16.08.2022.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the Judgment, dated 16.08.2022, made in W.A.(MD) No.168 of 2019.

2. Pursuant to the communication dated 17.10.2023 received from the Assistant Manager (MCOP), Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Madurai) Limited, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents made a submission that the respondents have already taken a decision to settle all the benefits due to the petitioner and the same will be settled on or before 30.11.2023.

3. Thus, the respondents are directed to settle all the benefits due to the petitioner on or before 30.11.2023. If the benefits due to the petitioner is not settled on or before 30.11.2023, the petitioner is at liberty to file appropriate petition to reopen this contempt petition.
