O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the guise of enquiry, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.03.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, 4th respondent is the wife of the petitioner and there was a family dispute between them. In this regard, the 4th respondent has lodged a complaint against him and his family members. Taking advantage of the same, the 3rd respondent used to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. Though the petitioner has appeared for enquiry several times, the 3rd respondent has frequently asked the petitioner and his family members to come for enquiry. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation on 07.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that based on the complaint given by the 4th respondent, the petitioner has been called for enquiry. Without appearing for enquiry, the petitioner has filed this petition. 2/4

However, the respondent police would conclude the enquiry within a period of one week.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to dispose of the petition by directing the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of this order.

5.With the above observations and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
