: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.04/Aa.Ka.Ni./2018 dated 02.05.2018 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to perform the cultural program of Adal Padal on 14.05.2018 night at about 07.00 p.m., 11.00 p.m., at Arulmigu Sri Muppidari Amman Kovil is situated at Kandankudiyeruppu, Moolakkarai Post, Tiruchendur, Tuticorin District and to provide adequate police protection based on Petitioner representation dated 30.04.2018. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner to hold the event as sought for. It is open to the second respondent to incorporate such conditions as he deems fit taking into account the local circumstances. The object of the stipulating conditions will be to ensure the smooth holding of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

event and to maintain law and order. It is made clear that the programme shall conclude by 10.00 p.m. positively. It is made clear that no obscenity shall be permitted.

3.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of and the impugned order dated 02.05.2018 in Na.Ka.No.04/Aa.Ka.Ni./2018 is set aside. No costs.
