ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal petitions dated 24.01.2026 and 05.02.2026 expeditiously, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner and the third respondent have rival claims over the property. The petitioner filed a suit in O.S. No. 182 of 2004 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Melur, seeking the relief of declaration and permanent injunction. The suit was decreed in favour of the petitioner vide judgment and decree dated 04.03.2010. The petitioner now claims right over the property. In the meanwhile, the third respondent has obtained patta in her name. Therefore, the petitioner has filed an appeal seeking cancellation of the patta standing in the name of the third respondent and for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner based on the judgment and decree passed in O.S. No. 182 of 2004.
3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the third respondent, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
