COMMON ORDER The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4318 of 2024 has approached this Court seeking a direction to the respondent therein to complete the 2/5
investigation in Cr.No.4 of 2024 and to file the final report, within a time frame.
2.The petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6516 of 2024 has approached this Court with an allegation that the third respondent therein is harassing him under the guise of enquiry.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents in both cases submits that this is a case of accident and the Investigating Officer has identified the vehicle, which involved in the commission of offence and they have also summoned the owner of the vehicle, namely J.Mohammed Thowfiq, for enquiry. The said J.Mohammed Thowfiq filed a petition before this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.6516 of 2024 seeking a direction to the respondent not to harass him and therefore, they could not proceed further with the investigation. 4.In view of the above submission, the petition filed by one J.Mohammed Thowfiq in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6516 of 2024 is dismissed and he is directed to co-operate with the enquiry. The petition filed by one Ramu is allowed and the Investigating Officer is directed to proceed 3/5
