O R D E R

The de-facto complainant has filed the above petition for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Karur to dispose of C.C.No.205/2016 within a stipulated time. 2.This Court called for a report from the Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Karur and a report dated 27.06.2017 has been received, wherein, the learned Judicial Magistrate has stated as follows:

"I humbly submitting that the Hon'ble Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, is directed to the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Karur in Crl.O.P(MD) No.4975/2017 dated 26.04.2017 to take proclamation proceedings against the A1 accused Sathishkumar (Absconding Accused) concerned in C.C.No.205/2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Court, Karur in Cr.No.03/2016 of All Women P.S. Karur.

Further I humbly submit that the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Karur is not produced any proclamation proceedings report against the accused Sathishkumar to this Court for onward submission to the Hon'ble High Court."

3. In view of the above, no directions can be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial within a time bound period. However, the respondent police is directed to comply with the directions issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Karur immediately, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The learned Judicial Magistrate, No.I, Karur shall proceed with the case expeditiously.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
