3.Pandiammal : Respondents Prayer:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to give electricity service connection and to erect bore well in the land in Survey No.362/15E, in patta No.2216 situating at Kuruchipatti village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to give electricity service connection and to erect bore well in the land in Survey No.362/15E, in patta No.2216 situating at Kuruchipatti village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today, Mr.M.Rathinam, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Keelavalavu Police Station, Madurai District, is present before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. It is seen that the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. It is for the petitioner to file a civil suit against the third respondent and seek appropriate remedy before the Civil Court.

5. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
