This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No.46 of 2022 from the 1/4

file of the Family Court, Thiruvannamalai to the Family Court, Kanniyakumari District at Nagercoil.

2.The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. The marriage between the petitioner and the respondent was solemnized on 25.06.2009, as per the Christian Rites and Customs and out of wedlock, they have blessed with one female children. Subsequently, due to some difference of opinion, the husband filed I.D.O.P.No.46 of 2022 before the Family Court, Thiruvannamalai seeking divorce. Since the petitioner/wife is a resident of Kanyakumari, she filed this present Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition to transfer the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No.46 of 2022 from the file of the Family Court, Thiruvannamalai to the Family Court, Kanyakumari District at Nagercoil. 3.Today(14.07.2022), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel on either side submits that it will be convenient for both the parties, if the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No.46 of 2022 is transferred to Family Court, Tirunelveli, which is a neutral venue.

4.In view of the submission made by either side counsel, this transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of with a direction that the proceedings in I.D.O.P.No.46 of 2022 on the file of the Family Court, Thiruvannamalai is withdrawn and ordered to be transferred to the file of the Family Court, Tirunelveli. The learned Judge, Family Court, Thiruvannamalai is directed to transmit the entire case records to the Family Court, Tirunelveli forthwith and the learned Judge, Family Court, Tirunelveli, who in turn shall dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
