Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and grant patta in name of the petitioner along with other legal heirs of Petitioners Husband in respect of the property comprised in Plot No.109 in Survey Nos. 150/6A11 and 150/6A13, measuring to an extent of 2400 square feet, situated at Pudukudi Vadapathi Village, Budalur Taluk, Thanjavur District based on the order passed by the 1st respondent after considering the Petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026 in the proceedings Oo.Mu.4112205/2026/U(3) dated 05.02.2026 within the stipulated time.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and grant patta in name of the petitioner along with other legal heirs of petitioner's husband in respect of the property comprised in Plot No.109 in Survey Nos. 150/6A11 and 150/6A13, measuring to an extent of 2400 square feet, situated at Pudukudi Vadapathi Village, Budalur Taluk, Thanjavur District based on the order passed by the 1st respondent after considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026 in the proceedings Oo.Mu.4112205/2026/U(3) dated 05.02.2026 within the stipulated time. 2.The property comprised in Plot No.109 in Survey Nos. 150/6A11 and 150/6A13 belongs to petitioner's husband, who died on 24/01/2024. Therefore, the petitioner and the two sons, namely Surya Devan and Vandhiya Devan have inherited the property. Now the petitioner is seeking to issue patta in the name of the three legal heirs. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The 3rd respondent shall consider the petitioner's claim after after hearing the petitioner as well as the two sons and issue patta within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
