In Crime No.56 of 2017 : Respondents Prayer:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to withdraw the case in Crime N0.56 of 2017 on the file of the 3rd respondent and to transfer the investigation from the 3rd respondent to any other agency under the supervision of the respondents 1 and 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

2. Pursuant to the death of Ochaayee wife of the petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.56 of 2017, dated 16.03.2017 under Section 174 Cr.P.C. Aggrieved by the slow progress in the investigation, the petitioner has filed the present petition for transferring the investigation. 3.The Inspector of Police, Uthappanayakkanur is present before this Court.

4.On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the third respondent police has filed a alteration report altering the case from Section 174 Cr.P.C., to Section 306 of IPC and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.From the above, it is clear that the investigation is going on the right lines. In such circumstances, this is not a fit case to transfer the investigation to any other agency. Hence, this petition is dimissed. No costs.
