This petition has been filed to direct the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-PCR Cases, Madurai to consider the petitioner's bail application and dispose the bail application on the same day, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-PCR Cases, Madurai in Crime No.267 of 2017 on the file of the respondent.

2. Mr.S.Velusamy, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Nagamalaipudukkottai Police Station, Madurai District is present. On instructions, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that though the injured has been discharged from hospital in this case, the petitioner has one previous case for the similar offence.

3. Taking into consideration the antecedent of the petitioner and also considering the serious nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that this is not a fit case to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
