O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in connection with Crime No.17 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and file charge sheet within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions submitted that the investigation will be completed and the charge sheet will be filed within four months.

4. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Court direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.17 of 2016 and to file charge sheet within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
