ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to transfer and place the petitioner in the existing vacancies of B.T Assistant, either at Panchayat Union Middle School, Suliyakottai or at Panchayat Union Middle School, Shenbagapuram, Ammapettai Educational Union, Thanjavur District, on the basis of her representation, dated 10.03.2021. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1/3
respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, she is the resident of Thanjavur District and she has been appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher, Government Middle School, Shenbagapuram, Ammapettai Union, Thanjavur District on 27.09.1996. After subsequent transfers, she was promoted as B.T Assistant on 14.11.2012 and transferred at Panchayat Union Middle School, Arumalaikottai, Thanjavur District. In the meantime, the second respondent, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.1072/A1/2017, dated 22.05.2017, transferred the petitioner from Ammapettai Union, Thanjavur District to Kumbakonam Educational Union and she was placed as B.T Assistant at Rani Subbaiyer Municipality Middle School, Kumbakonam. From the date of her transfer to Kumbakonam Educational Union, till now, she is working as B.T Assistant in the said School.
The petitioner was not able to travel from Thanjavur to Kumbakonam due to her health condition. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation, dated 10.03.2021, to the respondents to place her in the existing vacancy, situate in Ammapettai Educational Union, Thanjavur District. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that no counselling has been fixed for transfer and at the time of counselling for transfer, the petitioner's request will be considered for transfer from Kumbakonam Educational Union to Ammapettai Educational Union, Thanjavur District, by considering her representation, dated 10.03.2021.
5.Recording the above statement, the Writ Petition is dismissed.It is open to the petitioner to participate in the transfer counselling and seek for transfer. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS-II) // True Copy // / /2021 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) ps Note :
