Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records relating to the Impugned order made in Na.Ka.No.A-2, (1)/26187/2012 dated 22.01.13 on the third respondent and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to issue appointment order to the petitioner to thepost of grade-II Police Constable for the year 2012. For Appellants : Mr.VR.Shanmuganathan, Special Government Pleader.

appearing for the respondent.

2.By consent, the Writ Appeal is taken up for final disposal. 3.This Writ appeal is directed as against the order dated 26.03.2013 made in W.P(MD)No.2096 of 2013. The only point to be considered is whether the respondent/writ petitioner suppressed the material information regarding his criminal antecedents in the application filed for appointment to the post of Grade II Police Constable.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent filed application on 12.04.2012 in which he has stated that there is no criminal case pending against him. It is seen from the records produced by the learned Special Government Pleader that the Criminal case was registered in Cr.No.64 of 2012 on the file of M.Reddiapatti Police Station only on 16.06.2012. Subsequently, the same has ended in acquittal. Thus, on the day when the application was filed, there was no criminal case pending against the respondent/writ petitioner. Hence, the appellants have not made out any ground to interfere with the impugned order. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed. No costs.
