PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to direct the petitioner to surrender and consider the bail application on the same date itself by the Hon'ble Additional District and Sessions Court for the exclusive trial for PCR Act Cases, Sivagangai in Crime No.61 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, Elayangudi Police Station, Sivagangai District. ORDER

The present application has been filed by Accused No.2 in Crime No.61 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction to the Additional District and Sessions Court for the Exclusive trial for PCR Act Cases, Sivagangai District to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider his bail application on the same day.

2. Considering the averments in the petition, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and a direction is issued as prayed for. The learned Additional District and Sessions Judge for the Exclusive trial for PCR Act Cases, Sivagangai District, is directed to consider the application on the same day after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
