ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to give police protection to the life, limb and property on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 11.07.2016.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents 3 to 5 has unlawfully entered into the house of the petitioner and damaged the household articles and stolen the gold jewels. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has filed the complaint before the first respondent and also has made several representation to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
authorities seeking police protection to the petitioner and her children. Since no action has been taken on those complaints and representations, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the prayer as aforesaid.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the first respondent police registered a criminal case in Crime No.414 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 120(b), 457, 380, 384 IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 against the respondents 3 to 7 and seven others and now the investigation on the said complaint is pending.
4. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) is recorded.
5. In the above circumstances, since the petitioner's complaint has been registered in Crime No.414 of 2018 and investigation on the said complaint is pending, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in the present petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
