ORDER

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, he is a 80 years old complainant and inspite of direction given by the learned III Additional District and Session Judge, PCR, Madurai dated 22.01.2021, to file the final report within a period of 6 weeks, no progress has been made by the respondent Police.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor would submit that the major portion of the investigation is over and material papers have been collected and they will file a final report within 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Taking into consideration the undertaking given by the learned Public prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
