O R D E R

I must place my deep appreciation to the learned Counsel Mr.V.S.Karthik for the second and third respondents. 2.The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to disburse educational loan to the petitioner herein. 3.Heard Mr.H.Thayamanaswamy, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.V.S.Karthick, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 3.

4.This Court is deeply conscious that under Article 226 of Constitution of India, no customer can be thrust on the Bank and a 2/4

direction be given to disburse educational loan. But, however, I am informed that the respondents 2 and 3 have taken a decision to disburse the educational loan as sought by the petitioner to a sum of Rs.1,94,000/-.

5.The total loan sanctioned is Rs.3,93,000/-, which will be given to the petitioner every semester wise and accordingly, the first installment of Rs.1,93,000/- had been handed over to the petitioner by way of demand draft. Records to that extent had been produced before this Court.

6.Nothing further survives for adjudication. The Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous, as the issue has been addressed by the respondents. No order as to costs.
