ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, based on his complaint dated 15.03.2024.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submits that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration. He further submits that they will conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same within a week.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 5, is inclined to pass order in this petition.

4. Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration before the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a week from the date of 2/4

receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
