O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the matter and file the final report in Crime No. 5 of 2022.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant and based on the complaint lodged by him, an FIR in crime No. 5 of 2022 has been registered, for the offences under Sections 420 and 506(1) of IPC. Thereafter no proper investigation has been conducted and so far final report has not been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the case was registered in the year 2022 and thereafter, complaints have been received from 629 persons and in this case more than a sum of Rs.34.40 Crores is involved and the respondent police have to examine all the witnesses. Therefore, they are unable to complete the investigation and file the final report within the time. He would further submit that the investigation will be completed within a period of six months.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
