O R D E R

On the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Dindigul, and on the orders of the learned Judicial Magistrate, under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.13 of 2016 under Sections 120(b), 406, 420 and 506(i) of the IPC., on 08.06.2016. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the complaint, this Court cannot issue direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2016 and file a final report within a time bound manner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. In view of the fact that the FIR has been registered only on 08.06.2016, the direction as prayed for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2016 expeditiously and either file closure report or charge sheet, as the case may be, after due intimation to the petitioner.
