O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.969/2014 pending on the file of the respondent Police. 2.According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, an FIR in Crime No.969 of 2014 was registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far final report has not been filed. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that in this case, investigation is pending and some of the accused are absconding and the respondent police is taking steps to secure the accused and also awaiting report from the Forensic Lab in respect of the expert opinion. However, the investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed within a period of two months. 2/4

4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of this order.

5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
