ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner, who was surrendered on 22.03.2018 before the learned Judicial Magistrate for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341 and 307 IPC altered into 120(b), 147, 148, 341 and 302 IPC, in Crime No.198 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
3.The case of the prosecution is that due to some dispute, the first accused along with other accused attacked the deceased by using Aruval and sticks and caused injuries. Thereafter he admitted in Government Hospital, Madurai and he died.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is still pending.
5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the period of incarceration of the petitioner, I am of the view that the petitioner could be enlarged on bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail, on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-V, Madurai and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. sd/- 16/05/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
