Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 1st respondent to order further investigation by a competent Officer or direct the 3rd respondent to conduct independent investigation by registering a First Information Report in Crime No.82/2015, under Section 279 and 337 of IPC., on the file of the Ramanathapuram B1 Nagar Police Station, to conduct the investigation and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a specific time frame as fixed by this Court on the basis of the representation sent by the petitioner dated 29.06.2016.

ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.82 of 2015 within a time frame.

2.Heard Mr.J.Bhaskaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that on the complaint of the petitioner dated 29.06.2016, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.475 of 2016 dated 06.10.2016, for the offences punishable under Section 420 of I.P.C., against one Tamilarasan.

4. Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner, who is the Divisional Manager of the insurance company, made a specific allegation that based on the registration of the case in Crime No.82 of 2015, the claimant made a bogus claim, the second respondent is directed to file a final report in Crime No.82 of 2015, before the concerned Court, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
