Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that 1/4
the order passed by this Court, dated 12.07.2022 in WP(MD).No.14999 of 2022 has already been complied with. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without proper enquiry the said complaint was closed and the closure report has also not been served on the petitioner.
2. In view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Melur Division within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondent Police is directed to issue notice to both parties and proceed with the enquiry and complete the same within a month.
