This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2023 to grant permission to conduct the "Valli Thirumana Purana Nadagam" programme on 20.03.2023 at about 10.00 p.m., to 1.00 a.m., in Kodikulam Village, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that because of some rivalry between the two groups, the Investigating Officer sent a recommendation letter dated 15.03.2023, to the Tahsildar to conduct a Peace Committee Meeting. 2/5

4. The Tahsildar, Manamelkudi, to fix a date for conducting the Peace Committee Meeting and intimate the same to the parties. The parties are directed to participate the Peace Committee Meeting to be arranged by the Tahsildar, Manamelkudi.

5. Depending out come of the resolution to be adopted in the Peace Committee Meeting, further action has been taken either by the concerned parties or by the concerned authorities.
