ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 408 and 420 of IPC., in Crime No.317 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused involved in the theft of 1181.5 Kgs of duplicate Nagar from the Hundi of Arulmigu Sankaranarayanasamy Thirukovil, Sankarankovil for a period from 20.09.2007 to 30.06.2013. Hence, this case.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the investigation is going on.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer, who intends to arrest and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m for two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.
