This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.1046 of 2016 within the time stipulated by this Court 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that in this case, after completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai.

3.Recording the said submission, this criminal original petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to file a protest petitioner and workout his remedy before the Court concerned within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
