Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2024 for initiation of appropriate legal action the respondents 7 to 9 for the encashment of cash from the Panchayat Account being maintained in the 5th Respondent Bank by means of forgery, fabricating false documents and using false documents as if genuine and dispose of the same within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2024 for initiation of 2/5
legal action against the respondents 7 to 9 for encashment of cash from the Panchayat Account maintained in the 5th Respondent Bank by means of forgery and fabrication of documents, and dispose of the same.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 19.02.2024 for initiation of legal action against the respondents 7 to 9 for encashment of cash from the Panchayat Account maintained in the 5th Respondent Bank by means of forgery and fabrication of documents. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
