This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 443 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, an FIR in crime No. 443 of 2024 has been registered, for the offences under girl missing. After investigation, final report has been filed before the Special Court for exclusive trial of POCSO Act cases, Theni, on 07.03.2025.

3.Since the prayer is to quash the FIR and now, the respondent police has already completed the investigation and filed final report and as per FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offences, it is for the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if they are aggrieved.

4.In view of the same, preserving the liberty of the petitioners to 2/4

challenge the final report in the manner known to law, this criminal original petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
