The petitioner's complaint dated 25.04.2018, seeking direction to the second respondent to give adequate Police Protection to the Petitioner and her husband, has been kept pending without disposal, which prompted the petitioner to file the present Criminal Original Petition.
2.It is needless to point out that whenever any representation / application / complaint is made to the statutory authorities, the respondents are bound to dispose of the same in one way or other, rather than keeping it pending indefinitely. 3.In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the petitioner's complaint dated 20.04.2018, there shall be an direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint on its own merits and pass appropriate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Such an exercise shall be done after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and to any other person who may be interested in the subject matter.
